There is no known machine till date which can run without the fuel. Everything which is functional requires energy. For human beings nature has packed this energy everywhere, with the help of the plants. Plants consume natural energies like- Sun, Wind and Water along with the deep buried natural minerals and change these into the edibles. No one of us can think to eat the soil, to swallow the Sun light for the nutrition. This is the beautiful planning of the nature that we and our mate-creatures are capable of living. Plants collect them and synthesize food by the processes known as Photosynthesis and we disintegrate this food by an opposite activity known as Digestion. Plants make the packets of energies in their body and our bodies unpack these packets.
 
Food is the only thing which joins us with the nature. We are in close relation with the nature with the help of these foods only. That is why foods are the most important when one talks about the health. Because health is a natural phenomenon and nature can only maintain health by her blessings.
 
Now a Days everyone thinks about the nutritional values and calories of foods, most of times forgetting about ourselves. We all used to forget that we all are unique on individual levels. How a food items effects us is dependent not only on the food item, we ourselves are equally involved in this process. Today our physicians feel that if a food item is allergic to someone, fault is at food's end? Why do not we not responsible for all these allergies? We need to understand our bodies equally, as we are trying to understand our foods. No one of us is interested to know the requirement of the body? It matters hardly that something is over-reacting with our body? Our physicians and dietitians do tell us that we should avoid the particular food, which acts as an allergen to us or they have the pills which are capable to make the sensitivity of the body incapable? If we are avoiding a food item, it is not food's fault, it is you and me somewhere, responsible for this and by doing this we are missing something what nature has planned beautifully for you and me!
 
Ayurveda tells, one who is interested in health should be aware about his food. As food not only gives us the vital and biological energies, it is the only way to get the packets of energies, what Moon and Sun have stored for us in their beloved plants, with the help of mother nature.
